Acroprint's ATRx Biometric 1000N powered by ATRx Network software is a hand geometry recognition terminal that is highly accurate, it eliminate the need for badges and time cards, it brings the convenience and security of biometric technology to time and attendance. It eliminates the problems of lost or stolen timecards/badges, and costly buddy punching. It also help you save money and time from continually purchase and maintain stocks of badge, time cards, ribbons or other supplies. It doesn't capture fingerprints or palm prints. Yet, the recognition of this system is based on the size and shape of the employees' hands, which is highly accurate and generally not affected by rings, small adhesive bandages, false fingernails or things like that. It features green and red lights to notify the employee of the status of each punch. The employees can simply clock in and out quickly by entering their ID number and placing their hand on the HandPunch unit, and the typical verfication time is only one to two seconds. It has a capacity for up to 100 users, and the memory can upgrades to 512 users.
